Bennett-Fong Residence - entry gate.

Bennett/Fong Residence

This residence was designed in collaboration with the owners, a professional couple, to be a retreat from their busy days. The lot is a sloping inner lot accessed between two houses by a long driveway. The property opens up to an expansive view of Puget Sound. The landscaping was coordinated by Eleanor Thienes to include plant material which reminds the wife of northern California where she lived as a child. Care was taken to allow a view of the sound by the neighbors behind. The house includes a master suite on the top floor, living spaces on the main floor and guest spaces & indoor exercise pool on the lower floor.

The entry at mid-level between the living spaces and the upper master suite serves as circulation opening to view of those areas.
